I was in serious need of a new brain stimulation. I was getting sick of all the music I was exposed to lately... so went to the book store and picked up a book. "This Is Your Brain On Music," by Daniel J. Levitin is the perfect book.

I really suggest this book for anyone that's either in need of a new good reading or because you are curious about the deep connection between your brain and music. Even though I'm not done with it because something always comes up and I can never finish it (I'm more than half way though) it's so amazing how our brain makes sense of music.
I looooove going to concerts and shows ... something just makes me feel so good when I'm listening to good music out loud, blaring in my ears and now I know why. The loud music goes into your ear drums then processed in your brain almost like a drug. Because all of the neurons in your brain are firing off all at the same time; trying to figure out the vibration, tone, beat, tempo, etc- it feels good to your brain.
Anyways, go read it for yourself and be as fascinated and as informed as I am :)
